design work

A selection of identity, illustration, motion, and production design projects built across vector tools, hand-drawn artwork, photography, code, and compositing.

01 / App identity

Round Rummy

A layered app icon designed for the Round Rummy card game.

The icon's vectors were designed in Affinity Designer 2. Its colors, materials, and appearance variations were then styled in Apple's Icon Composer app.

RUN card back featuring a hand-drawn rabbit and radiating lines

02 / Illustration + app design

RUN card back

A hand-drawn rabbit illustration developed into the central card-back graphic for the RUN game.

I drew the rabbit in Procreate on iPad and painted the textured background by hand. I used AI to generate randomized radiating lines, then brought them into Affinity Designer 2, converted the image into vector curves, and refined the result.

The remaining card structure and interface were generated in the app with SwiftUI.

03 / Brand identity

Silver Star Automotive

Two directions for a modernized automotive identity based on the company's original logo.

Simplified Silver Star Automotive logo
01 Simplified vector direction
Metallic Silver Star Automotive logo
02 Refined metallic direction

The first direction is a simplified design created in Adobe Illustrator. The second develops that concept into a more realistic metal treatment, refined from the Illustrator version in Affinity Designer 2. Both update the company's original logo with a more modern feel.

04 / Music visualizer

"Another Night"

A 4K music visualizer created for musician Hunter Reece.

Another Night visualizer with an orange VHS tape, circular waveform, and Hunter Reece lettering

The visualizer begins with a photograph I took of an old orange VHS tape, lit from behind with a light box to create its glow. I layered a geometric pattern over the edited image, then built particle systems and waveforms that respond to the music.

Multiple waveform layers were wrapped along a path to form the circle around my hand-drawn Hunter Reece lettering. Color correction and the lower-left typography completed the composition. The original video was exported in 4K and compressed for YouTube.

"Get Through"

A set of visual states created for Hunter Reece's track "Get Through."

The background combines a layered texture with a photograph. I manipulated the waveform with additional After Effects effects to produce a distinctive set of animated visual states for the track.

Large-scale 303 Windows trailer wrap featuring illustrated workers and a mountain logo

06 / Large-format graphic

303 Windows trailer wrap

An AI-assisted illustration prepared for large-format vehicle production.

I created the initial graphic with the help of AI, then adjusted and refined the artwork in Affinity Designer 2. The final composition was upscaled in Pixelmator Pro so it could hold up as a large-scale trailer wrap.

07 / Social media content

MacRumors iOS tutorial

A vertical social media tutorial demonstrating how to turn on Apple's Advanced Data Protection.

MacRumors-style iPhone security tutorial presented inside an iPhone mockup

This was part of a social media content sample package for MacRumors, intended for Shorts, Reels, or TikTok. I recorded my iPhone's screen, then used Final Cut Pro to place the recording inside an iPhone mockup and animate it over a subtly moving background.

I blurred sensitive information from the iPhone content, created hand-drawn and animated elements in Procreate, and overlaid the artwork and audio in Final Cut Pro. The result clearly communicates a new iOS feature while fitting the visual style of MacRumors. I also animated the MacRumors logo for the ending.
